Winnipeg 'pegged' as No. 1 expansion location

With the new world order in the NHL, would it be possible for a team to survive in Winnipeg?Sports business analyst Howard Bloom of SportsBusinessNews.com thinks so."If I were to pick the top-5 places to relocate a team, I would put Winnipeg at No. 1. They have an arena, it's a traditional hockey market and they have enough corporate support to make it work," Bloom told the Winnipeg Sun.But Bloom also says it's not a lock as there would be stiff competition from at least five other cities including Houston, Oklahoma City, Kansas City and Portland.
